The next TRP2 residents committee meeting has been postponed to Thursday, 15/5/08, 9.00pm at No.14 Jalan RP11/4. All committee members are urged to attend.

China Press reported the problems of rock blasting which has been haunting the residents of Taman Rawang Perdana 2 for many many years and still goes on ..... until ?

According to the report, Ms Gan Pei Ni, Adun Rawang from PKR, a dialogue will be arranged between all parties involved to find a solution to the problem(s).

When is this going to end ?

Who will be held responsible for whatever damages caused to the nearby residential houses ? NONE !

All parties involved in the blasting are pushing their responsiblities from one to another !

It's like "Gajah sama gajah berjuang, Pelanduk yang mati di tengah-tengah !"

Cancellation of Committee Meeting

Due to the fact that many of the committee members has confirmed their absence in the forthcoming meeting on 11/5/08, we will be unable to officiate the meeting without sufficient quota and thus, have no alternative but to cancel the meeting until further notice.

Any inconveniences caused are much regretted.

TRP2 Committee Meeting on Sunday, 11/5/08, 8.30pm at Balai Raya Rawang Jaya

A meeting for all TRP2 residents committee will be held on this Sunday, 11/5/08 at 8.30pm, at Balai Raya Rawang Jaya. Among other issues to be discussed is the arrangement of re-election of a new committee member for the next term of service. All committee members are urged to attend.

Meeting with Ms Gan Pei Ni of Parti Keadilan Rakyat

Followed by the complaint letter submitted to Ms Gan Pei Ni on May 1, 2008, a meeting was held this afternoon (7/5/08) between Ms Gan, her assistant Mr Ng, and the representatives from the residents of TRP2, attended by Mdm Ong Siew Hong, Mr Chan Pak Nean (No.1, RP10/2) & Mr Edmund Liew (No.6, RP11/6).

Main problems discussed were blasting issues that has been haunting the residents of TRP2 since many years and the air pollution and strong odour from a Quarry at RP11 were believed may bring to health impact to the residents nearby. (Complaint file no.A0078/050508)

Ms Gan has been urged to arrange a dialog session between all parties involved and the residents for a resolution to the problems.

Masalah pencemaran udara di Fasa RP11, TRP2 telah dikemukakan kepada pihak Kementerian Kesihatan dan Jabatan Alam Sekitar oleh En. Edmund Liew sejak tahun 2006.

Namun, tindakan yang diambil hanya sekadar mengeluarkan kompaun kepada syarikat kuari berkenaan di bawah Akta berkenaan.

Keadaan pencemaran dengan asap, bau yang kuat dan habuk yang dipercayai bertoksik mengakibatkan penduduk persekitaran terpaksa menutup semua pintu dan tingkap walaupun pada waktu siang.

Satu lagi pengaduan secara rasmi telah dikemukakan kepada pihak-pihak dan jabatan-jabatan terbabit untuk langkah penyelesaian.
